Consulting

We provide consultation to our clients in all issues of the technical feasibility of process facilities. Feasibility and implementation are considered with a special focus. The advantages and disadvantages of various facilities and concepts would be evaluated and a basis for decision-making would be worked out.

Which technology has what advantage?

To all such questions, we give answers. Our independence from suppliers is a big plus. No matter which conveying method is preferred by our clients, we provide them with an individual and unique solution that fits their requirements. Furthermore, we prepare tender documents, obtain binding offers and provide assistance in awarding the contract; as desired by the client.

Does the facility run optimally?

One area of focus of our consulting services is in the design and optimization of pneumatic conveyor systems. No matter which process engineering or plant-specific problem our clients might have for conveying bulk goods, because of decades of activity, our own calculation models and comprehensive experience in this field, CEC will remain as a competent partner.

How could the resources be saved?

An essential contribution to the reduction of perspective operating costs for a facility is the optimization of consumption of utilities (compressed air, water, energy). These are designed by us to meet the special requirements of the operating facilities.

Operational Safety – A Must!

We are pleased to provide support in carrying out the CE conformity assessment and for preparing the necessary technical documentation (operation manuals, risk assessment, determination of safety marking, etc.). We are also able to handle this task completely.

Some of the systems that we design are:

  • Vaccum and pressurized pneumatic conveyor systems from -0.5 to +5 bar
  • Fast conveying up to 55 m/s
(e.g. for even plastic granules or cereals)
  • Slow conveying from 5 m/s
(e.g. for gentle handling of fragile goods)
  • Material handling systems with inert-gas circulation systems
    (e.g. for combustible dust materials)
  • Flow rates from 0.1 kg/h to 500 t/h
  • Conveying distances from 5 m to 1 km
